Con
más de 500 personas a bordo -278 tripulantes y 249 pasajeros- el crucero hace
escala en Sevilla procedente de Portimao y antes de poner rumbo a Tánger. De
bandera alemana, el Deutschland tiene 174 metros de eslora, 22
de manga y casi 5,8 de calado.

El Deutschland, un crucero procedente de Portimao hace escala en Sevilla. Ha
llegado al Muelle de las Delicias a las 11 de la mañana de este lunes con 527
personas a bordo, de los cuales más de la mitad son tripulantes. El crucero,
consignado por Pérez y Cía, hizo su última escala en la ciudad en el mes de
Abril y engrosa la lista de cruceros que visitan Sevilla en los últimos años.
El aumento de escalas de cruceros en el puerto sevillano se
refleja en los datos a 30 de agosto de este año, que recogen que Sevilla ha
recibido en lo que llevamos de 2013
a un total de 12.452 pasajeros, un 29,43 por ciento más
que en el mismo período de 2012. Para Pedro Sánchez Cuerda, el presidente de
los hosteleros sevillanos, la llegada de cruceros a la ciudad es una
"magnífica noticia para Sevilla". Sánchez Cuerda mantiene que los
cruceristas tienen un alto poder adquisitivo y que "riegan
económicamente" los establecimientos que se encuentran en las inmediaciones
de los monumentos sevillanos.
El presidente de los hosteleros sevillanos aprovecha la ocasión
para seguir reclamando el desbloqueo del dragado del Guadalquivir, pues ello
posibilitaría la llegada de más cruceros a la capital.
